Training and courses

The CSSR offers a number of courses in quantitative and mixed research methods for the social sciences. A yearly Summer School in Quantitative Analysis was launched in 2012 and will be a credit-bearing UCT graduate course from 2013. A number of short and special-purpose courses have also been presented, including

• A short course for South African parliamentary researchers;
• A week-long course in quantitative analysis of education data for Equal Education; and
• A wwek-long course on the analysis of public opinion survey data in partnership with the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation.
